Living in the Wairarapa Linda now works from her home studio in Masterton. She been worked with clay for many years, experimenting with various methods, types of clay, and glazes before settling on her true passion: sculpting with black clay and using the Japanese technique of Nerikomi. This method allows her to explore and highlight the unique characteristics of coloured clay through layering, cutting, slicing, and folding. Linda appreciates the clarity of simple forms and the rich, velvet finish of fired black clay. Each of her sculptures is handmade, employing coil and slab techniques to create unique and exclusive pieces. No two of her sculptures are ever the same, ensuring each piece has its own distinct charm and identity. She exhibits locally and more recently in the annual NZ National Art Show, Wellington, and has ongoing work in the Deciduus & Cronje gallery in Taupo and now located in Tirau.
