Karley Skinner creates pieces which are a celebration of harmony and symbiosis in nature, executed on wood, canvas, and in ceramics. Inspired by the geometry in native moths and butterflies, the fractals and interlocking patterns of Gothic cathedrals and Celtic art, and the mythology of the human experience, these pieces range from fully functional ceramic platters and vases, useful keepsake boxes, to purely decorative oil paintings, for making any space more beautiful and whimsical.
The artist is open to commissions, particularly for animal portraits, whether painted or ceramic.
