Annie Doornebosch is a Wairarapa-based artist who moved to Greytown in 2018.
Annie holds a Diploma in Creativity from The Learning Connexion, where she developed a strong focus on printmaking. She also enjoys working
in oils, ink, and watercolour.
Annie’s designs often include botanical and native flora and fauna, with hints of New Zealand’s cultural influences and landscapes. She hopes to suggest a
sense of transparency, elegance and thoughtful contemplation in her work. Annie hand prints her designs. She prefers collagraph (intaglio) and linocut
(relief) printing methods. Her work is produced in limited edition runs on fine art paper, using soy based inks. Annie’s work is exhibited throughout the
Wairarapa and New Zealand.
Annie is a member of the New Zealand Print Council, and has been featured in Proof, a publication highlighting New Zealand printmakers.
