Greytown Art Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery in the heart of Greytown, proudly showcasing the work of talented artists from across the Wairarapa. Artist-run and artist-focused, the gallery is built on a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and mutual support, providing a welcoming space for both established and emerging artists.
Representing 25 artists working across a wide range of disciplines, the gallery offers visitors an ever-changing collection of high-quality paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, fibre art, glass, and mixed media works. As a not-for-profit community-minded organisation, Greytown Art Gallery is committed to fostering creativity and making art accessible to all.
A key part of the gallery’s mission is giving back to the community through a diverse programme of exhibitions, workshops, and events. These include school exhibitions, opportunities for emerging artists, and the popular annual Full Circle Exhibition, which encourages participation from artists at all stages of their creative journey. The gallery continues to be a vibrant hub for art, culture, and connection in the Wairarapa.
