Howie Griffin is a potter and artist specializing in small-scale works that capture intricate detail and quiet emotion. Working primarily in clay, and oils, his sculptures and paintings reflect a deep appreciation for form, texture, and the subtleties of the human and natural world. Each piece is hand-crafted, often drawing inspiration from everyday moments, memory, and organic shapes. Howie works from his home studio in Featherston. His paintings are reflective of the environment he lives in, and his small sculptures explore both a personal expression and offer a shared experience.
