Jules is a Greytown based oil painter, who’s Inspiration comes from everyday things, it could be a chipped jug, a bug eaten leaf or a beautiful piece of fabric but most of all it must have had a “life” because it then tells a story.
She draws inspiration from classical still-life traditions of composition, form and most importantly light and shadow, always trying to catch the essence of the subject in a moment of time, like painting a portrait of a object.
