Justine is drawn to myth and archetypes as a blueprint for understanding the
human condition. Her work blends classical and contemporary techniques to
compose narratives around personal and universal experience. Justine’s
paintings evoke a sense of turbulence that reflects entropic cycles, while
celebrating the expressive potential of paint itself. Justine is a Wairarapa-
based oil painter and educator, with a background in ceramics.
