Red Delicious Gallery is a contemporary, Co-operative based, Artspace showcasing some of the best artists in
the Wairarapa. Up to 18 artists – painters, ceramicists, jewellers, fibre artists, sculptors – share the space and expenses.As well as a ‘Feature Artist of the Month’ Red Delicious also has room for invited commission-based artists.
Besides the beautifully curated Gallery there is a Gift Shop with a wide variety of smaller and more affordable merchandise.
The name Red Delicious is inspired by the apple orchards that played an important part in Greytown’s history. Its logo is a
Wairarapa twist on Magritte’s 1960 work: ‘The Postcard’At the time of writing Red Delicious is the home of Megan J. Campbell, Philothea Flynn, Clarke Gregory, Howie Griffin,
Annie Hayward, Deborah Illingworth, Anna Layzell, Marie Lotz, Nidito Ceramics, Karen Madoc, Jacky Pearson, Faye
