Wairarapa artist Roze Doherty finds inspiration in the landscapes, vessels, colours, patterns, and everyday moments that surround her. Living in Greytown with her family, she has a deep connection to the land and community. She creates through painting, photography, weaving,
styling, and mixed-media making. Rather than following a single style, Roze enjoys experimenting with materials and techniques, creating work that captures a sense of place, memory, and home. For her, the joy is in the process—keeping her hands busy, exploring new ideas, and making beautiful things along the way.
